This little guy wanted no business in sleeping during our session. We tried everything to get him to sleep, and aside of him falling asleep for about a minute, we were not successful. When this happens, I just roll with it, and we shoot with the baby awake. It may take me longer to get what I need from the session, but at least these parents will have some memories that we caught in their home with this new precious little life. I also got some fun play time with the sister and that always makes for some great photos as well, and siblings of newborns love to get all my attention, even if it’s for just a little while. I also love those shots with newborns eyes wide open. It just takes a lot more photos to capture the ones of the baby being still, but we got some great ones of this sweet little one.
